 Ballet Shoes trailers

Yay! The Beeb aired a trailer for their upcoming Christmas shows. Lots of nice little clips from Ballet Shoes!

I think, as far as I can tell, there's a closeup of Posy, a shot of Pauline twirling, Pauline tilting her head a bit, some ballet-shod feet jumping, a girl (Petrova?) being lowered on a harness on a stage (looked like the Midsummer Night's Dream rehearsal), Theo twirling with Sylvia and Posy watching, someone (Posy?) dancing to a gramophone with Madame Fidolia directing, Fidolia clapping at a class with the girls and Nana and Sylvia in the background (looks like the first visit to the school), and Nana in a hall with a dinosaur fossil behind her ;D.

Wow, great pictures. I watched the video on Youtube and I like the tone of it (actually I liked the whole commercial!) It's so nice to see the scene from A Midsummer Night's Dream. It was a shame they didn't show any of the rehersals or anything in the old version. Is that Pauline on the far left as one of the four fairies? If so, she's really tall! Costumes look lovely, though.

LOL at Nana with the dinosaur!

how lovely
I think it is posy dancing to the gramaphone with Madame Fidolia watching. Posy or Pauline anyways, most likely Posy as she spends most time with Madame Fidolia.

Madame Fidolia looks just the way I imagined her. Too bad the UK is too far away for me to take a visit to watch Ballet Shoes.

Do you think that
the very first image is Pauline dancing in the middle of naother group of dancers, because the more I look at it the more I believe it is her!!! Although I can't imagine which scene it would be!!!

I've now seen the BBC Christmas drama trails, and there's one that I'm sure is Petrova not being very good at ballet and getting the arms wrong!

I've had a look on the BBC1 site and there seems to be another Ballet Shoes trailer available, though I can't see it because I'm not in the UK. Here's the link though. I have no idea what it's like.

Hi everyone! Soooooooo excited about this movie! I'm a big Ballet Shoes fan and I've seen the old one on Youtube but this one looks even better. The trailer looks great, just like the book come to life.

I laughed at the bit where Pauline says "No I need to be an actress".

Oh yay, I'm glad someone put it on YouTube. I guess it was only a matter of time, lol. Thanks for the link misspirouette. ;D

I think that scene with Pauline twirling is from the part where they meet Theo and find out she's a dance teacher and they dance with her for the first time. Posy and Petrova are dancing with her as well in this new trailer.

Lots of nice new bits! The vow (squee!), Pauline dressed up as Charles II's sister for the film test, Dr Smith and Dr Jakes, Gum (looking rather like the professor from Narnia heheheh), and Mr Simpson. Still wibbling about killing off Mrs Simpson for the Sylvia/Mr Simpson thing but maybe it won't be too heinous.

What on earth was Gum doing bringing Pauline in a cardboard BOX ... with a LID, by the looks of it! Lol! That pretty much sums up his ideas on children I think. Mr Simpson looks like either a gangster or a Blues Brother in that suit. But the trailer looks cool ;D
